Lesley Richmond
Program Coordinator, Youth Programs
Lesley graduated from North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor of Arts in Parks and Recreation, a concentration in Sports Management, and a minor in Business. Prior to joining Be Active, Lesley served as Community Center Administrator for the Town of Holly Springs Parks and Recreation. There, she acted as a customer service representative, and managed employee trainings, special events, and youth programs. Lesley joined the Be Active team as the Youth Programs Coordinator in December of 2007.
Favorite way to be active: Play softball and do outdoor activities with my kids.
Fitness goals: I personally don’t have any fitness goals, but I do set them for my children. They must get at least 60 minutes of physical activity each day whether it’s riding their bike or just playing outside.
Fitness hero: My husband.
Favorite walking or jogging trail: Eno River, in Durham.
