Do you enjoy training childcare providers and preschool teachers on various topics? Would providers in your community like information on how to encourage healthy habits with their preschoolers? If so, you may be interested in becoming a BE ACTIVE KIDS TRAINER!

Since Be Active Kids is a statewide program, trainers are volunteers who share this curriculum with childcare providers and preschool teachers at the local level.

There are no specific qualifications for becoming a Be Active Kids trainer. We do ask that our trainers commit to conducting at least one Be Active Kids training within one year of their train the trainer session.

The curriculum is designed for four and five year olds, so we ask that the providers or teachers trained, only work with this age group.

A special thanks to those trainers who attended trainings in Buncombe, Orange, Sampson, Scotland and Wilkes County. 

We were able to train 63 new Be Active Kids trainers across the state.  We have received a great deal of postive and encouraging feedback from the training sessions and are excited that many of you have already scheduled and/or completed a provider training.  WAY TO GO, we could not do it without you!
