"My mother, Betty Young had developed health problems. This lead to a lack of confidence and a fear of walking on her own. I read about this class in our local town newspaper and enrolled her in it. She progressed and bloomed from a person who had lost her smile and joy to the mother that I knew who would talk to other participants. She couldn't wait to go back to the next class. I intend to keep her coming to the Senior Center in Cornelius."
