Dan Risku is the Vice President of ASO and Inter-Plan Programs at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, a position he has held since 2005. Risku has held other officer positions at BCBSNC, including Vice President of Strategic Development, and Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. Prior to BCBSNC, Risku worked for The Prudential Insurance Company of America. He received his Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law and received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Risku’s current community affiliations include: Carolina Ballet, Inc., Board of Directors, Chair Elect, and Chair, Strategic Planning Committee; Be Active North Carolina, Board of Directors; and North Carolina Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association, Board of Directors, Vice Chair and Treasurer.
