Format
TEXAS SCRAMBLE. All players tee off and the best tee shot is selected. From the position of the selected drive, each player will play his or her own ball from that position until each is holed. The maximum number of strokes is 2 over par. We will be using 2 Net Best Balls and 2 Gross Best Balls. Please record your Gross scores on the scorecard.
Handicaps
All players’ handicaps will be at 90%.
Tie Breaker
We will use the total score of the back nine holes. If still tied, then the last six holes will be used. The third process would be to use the last three holes played.
Strokes
Once a player reaches a double par swing, please pick up for the remainder of the hole.
Scoring
Please return all scorecards to Be Active volunteers after completion of play.

Lateral Water Hazards: Defined by red stakes/lines. Stakes and lines are part of the hazard.
Green Stakes and Ropes: Are deemed to be movable obstructions. Please replace after your shot. The plastic sleeves in the ground are immovable obstructions.

Waste Areas: Waste areas are unenclosed sandy areas and are played as “through the green”.
Fixed Sprinkler Heads: If a ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and such an obstruction on or within two club-lengths of the putting green and within two club-lengths of the ball intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may take relief as follows: the ball shall be lifted and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which (a) is not nearer the hole, (b) avoids such intervention and (c) is not in a hazard or on a putting green. The ball may be cleaned when so lifted.
