Be Active North Carolina partners with many great organizations and communities to strengthen our work with youth.  This year, we have collaborated with over 30 groups to promote physical activity, natural play and healthy youth statewide.

Active Chatham
Be Active serves the Active Chatham work group to promote physical activity opportunities to Chatham County residents.

Alliance for a Healthier Generation
Be Active and the Alliance partner to provide resources to North Carolina schools participating in the Healthy Schools program.

East Carolina University Activity Promotion Laboratory
The Be Active Schools program uses classroom Energizers created by the ECU Activity Promotion Laboratory.

Fitness Concepts
Fitness Concepts donates refurbished fitness equipment to schools participating in the Be Active Schools program.

GetSweaty.com 
Be Active partners with GetSweaty.com to motivate kids to lead healthy, physically active lifestyles.

Kids in Parks
The Be Active-Appalachian partnership worked with the Kids in Parks program on the opening of the New River State Park TRACK Trail.

Marbles Kids Museum
Be Active works with Marbles Kids Museum on several initiatives including the Power 2 Play Exhibition, Family Fit Series and Kickoff to Kindergarten event.

North Carolina Department of Public Instruction
Be Active worked with DPI to train over 42,000 teachers statewide on the Healthy Active Children Policy.

North Carolina School Health Connection
NCSHC identifies and promotes effective childhood obesity prevention programs in North Carolina public schools to empower key stakeholders and encourage collaboration among those seeking to improve student health and academic achievement.

North Carolina Prevention Partners – Zone Health Program

Saris Cycling Group
Be Active was the lead state agency on the Saris Cyclying national poster contest for fifth grade students.
