Be Active North Carolina partners with many great organizations and communities to strengthen our work with older adults. This year, we have developed partnerships to promote healthy aging – including physical activity, healthy eating, falls prevention and arthritis.
Meals on Wheels of Wake County
Meals on Wheels of Wake County is piloting the Be Active Placemat program. The program will provide residents with colorful placemats designed with fun and safe physical activities.
Loaves and Fishes Christian Food Ministry, Inc
Loaves and Fishes is working with Be Active to pilot the Be Active Placemat program in Alamance County.
NC Area Agency on Aging
Be Active NC is the statewide coordinator for the A Matter of Balance falls prevention program.
