Small changes in your habits and everyday lifestyle can add up to big benefits for your health. By beginning to work physical activity in throughout your normal day you are decreasing your risk for certain diseases including cardiovascular disease, stroke and type II diabetes.

Physical activity need not be strenuous to achieve health benefits. Small tasks like parking farther away from your destination in parking lots and taking the stairs rather than the elevator can increase your physical activity level.

Walking is an easy activity to use to begin a physical activity program and when combined with our active steps program you can set goals and track your progress throughout the day, and meet those goals by adding steps throughout the day as mentioned above.
